Amnesty International - Calgary Branch

Donations

Our group is financially independent from the National Branch. As most of the membership fees we collect goes to the Branch, we need to raise more funds to carry on our work. To support our local group:

  1. 1. Become a member of our group. A membership fee is considered as a donation, therefore we will issue an income tax receipt for the amount we received.
  2. 2. Send us a donation via a cheque payable to Amnesty International. If you want, you can make out a cheque for a membership fee and an extra donation. We will issue an income tax receipt.
  3. 3. Make a donation through CanadaHelps.org (http://www.canadahelps.org). Make a donation now.
  4. 4. Consider the United Way Donor Choice Program. You can designate your donations to us. When you make out your donation form or payroll deduction form for the United Way, please specify our group: Amnesty International Group 2 & 57 - otherwise your donations goes to the Branch. United Way will issue an income tax receipt.
  5. 5. Donate goods and services.
